This photo portrays a story of love, unity, connections and human experience.
We have all just landed off a Carnival Cruise after a turn of events. We no longer could set sail towards Moreton island, Queensland, due to a cyclone warning and had to head south and land in Hobart, Tasmania, instead.
This image was captured on a double decker tourist bus about to travel through Tasmania’s historical sweet spots.
Although there was a change in the wind when it came to our journey, it didn’t stop us having a beautiful time shared together in celebration of our sister Ava’s birthday.
Some of us come from different families celebrating as partners, some are about to embark on their own journey away from home, some have moved out and others still reside here. But in this moment, we were in one embrace, one family and one experience.
We could escape reality and endure the true bliss of what a holiday is all about. Spending time with loved ones and freshening our eyes with a new place, a life far from what we know.
