Katoomba
Home to the famous Three Sisters sandstone peaks and Scenic World.
Scenic World has the world’s steepest railway at 52˚ incline which travels at 4m per second. Scenic World also features the Skyway at 270m above the ground, and Cableway, the steepest aerial cable car in the Southern Hemisphere at 36˚ incline. Catch majestic views of the Jamison Valley including the Three Sisters formation from above.
Port Stephens
Port Stephens has the largest sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere. Try sandboarding on Stockton Sand Dunes. Also catch a dolphin cruise from Nelson Bay or swim with wild dolphins for an up-close-and-personal adventure.
Palm Beach
Located in the secluded north of the city, Palm Beach offers a relaxed vibe with clear waters and gentle waves. Walk up to Barrenjoey Lighthouse for outstanding coastal views from 91m above sea level.
Manly
Catch a public ferry from Circular Quay and arrive at Manly Wharf. Take a bushwalk to North Head and catch panoramic views of the city, or have a relaxing picnic at Shelley Beach.
Taronga Zoo
Visit more than 350 species of animals. From Australian natives dingoes and koalas, to Asian red pandas and sun bears. There are daily talks and presentations such as Seals for the Wild Presentation and Dingo Keeper Talk.
