Whether you are a bread fanatic or just keenly observant of your shops along the street, everyone knows Breadtop.
Established in 2002, Breadtop is an Australian-born bakery franchise that specialises in Hong-Kong style sweet and savoury breads, baked fresh and daily.
But with all the various breads that they offer, how could one new to the game possibly know where to start?
Come along on a munching journey to see what the top five popular picks of both the consumers, and this seasoned bread fanatic (me!), are.

No.5: Pork Floss Bun
Pork Floss Bun is a soft bun coated in Rousong, or meat floss, a style of flavouring that is unique to China. The meat floss has a texture similar to that of fairy floss. Breadtop offers both the original Pork Floss flavour and Seaweed Pork Floss.

No.4: Curry Vegetable Hashbrown
Curry Vegetable Hashbrown would be a popular choice for vegetarians and non-vegetarians all round. The hashbrown has a creamy potato and pea flavour, coated in a crunchy crumb.

No.3: Chocolate Horn
This one is for all you chocolate lovers. The chocolate horn is a cone-shaped bun filled with a rice chocolate ganache, the perfect snack to fill chocolate cravings.

No.2: Sausage bun
This one makes the list due to its popularity and deliciousness. Sausage bun is a soft bun filled with a pork sausage, simple yet it effectively satisfies the tastebuds any time of the day.

No.1: Pineapple Bun
Pineapple buns are native to Hong Kong. Don’t let the name deceive you, these are not pineapple-flavoured buns but simply a sweet bun topped with a crispy crunchy coat. The bumpy design at the top is what gives it the name Pineapple Bun, to bring you a little closer to Hong Kong. They are worth the taste!
