Every Taylor Swift concert on her Eras Tour ends with a bang.
The fireworks in the photo above are from her song Karma, which is from the Midnights album and is always the last song on the setlist. I saw this live twice, once in Melbourne and once in Sydney (which is where this photo was taken), and it was so cool to see in real life.
She has brought her Eras Tour to 21-plus countries for a total of 152 shows. At the time of writing, she has completed her European leg of the tour (with Vienna being cancelled unfortunately due to safety issues) and is on a break with more American dates starting from October 18.
From her debut Taylor Swift, to her most recent album The Tortured Poets Department, she is playing all of her biggest hits from each album across over 17 years of music.
Karma is an upbeat song which also references her previous albums and songs. As Swift said in an interview with Apple Music: “Karma is written from a perspective of feeling like, really happy, really proud of the way your life is, feeling like this must be a reward for doing stuff right.”
