We all love a good piece of salmon, with its rich flavour and versatility. There are many different ways to prepare, cook, and consume this fish. Let’s explore our options, shall we?
SMOKED
A classic, and for good reason. Smoked salmon has that ashy flavour that is difficult to replicate in red meat. Best served with eggs for an early meal, or some light greens for dinner.
GRILLED
Grilled salmon incorporates flavours with some zest, such as lemon, soy sauce and pepper. I like to overcook mine, just a little, for that crunchy skin.
RAW
Some people may find this odd, but uncooked salmon is more common than you think. Usually served in the form of sushi, sashimi, etc. Raw salmon just leaves you feeling fresh, full and happy.
PAN-FRIED
Quick and easy. Pan-fried salmon never takes more than six minutes, and uses everyday household ingredients like butter, salt and pepper. If you’re looking for a quick nutritious meal, this takes the cake.
BAKED IN FOIL
Baking salmon in foil is the best way to preserve all that lovely moisture that you can miss out on with other methods. It’s great with any kind of side dish, even potatoes.
