If you’re looking for some entertaining new games to play, I’ve got you sorted with a list of the best new games of 2026.
No.1: Pragmata
Coined Capcom’s “Dad simulator”, Pragmata is a heartwarming action-adventure game where you must escape a space research station. Packed with combat and system hacking puzzles, you play as both Hugh and Diana, an adorable father-daughter duo, to fight robots and deepen your bond.
No.2: 2. Resident Evil Requiem
Another highly anticipated survival horror game by Capcom, where you play as FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft, and veteran DSO agent Leon Kennedy. The two different gameplays present two different challenges, evading to survive, and more of the same old zombie-killing action seen in the previous games.
No.3: Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream
This game centres on the lives of “Miis” that you make, whether that be your family, friends, or your favourite characters all living together on a holiday island. You see new friendships or romance form, and there’s so much customisation involved, it’s a creative and cozy game to relax and enjoy.
No.4: Forza Horizon 6
Set in a massive, open-world racing game in Japan, you get to experience driving over 550 cars and join events like car meets and street racing. You rise through the ranks to qualify for the Horizon Festival, and the driving gameplay is insane. If you love racing, you’ll need to play this one.
No.5: Dead As Disco
A satisfying action rhythm game where every punch, kick, and combo syncs to the music. In this game you beat up enemies with flashy combat styles, and use something called “Beat Kune Do”. Yeah, that’s a twist on martial arts. You can also import your own music, that’s probably my favourite part. The music and environment is really pleasing to look at, and it is currently in the early access stage. Let out some pent-up energy on this game.
